In conjunction with Exxon’s subcontractor, KKC, SWSI personnel were tasked with initial gas detection and clearance of in excess of 45 confined space work locations. This was a 24 Hr operation with team members required to clear spaces pre-shift and as an ongoing operational requirement during any given shift.
This project was a direct result of the lack of capacity for the operation to be handled by internal staff. SWSI was required to assume control of all equipment inventories and operate these and any additional systems in compliance with legislative requirements, conformance with manufacturers specifications and existing work safe procedural issues specific to site.
